Role overview

Development responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain iOS applications for iPhone and iPad.
• Build responsive web applications and digital solutions.
• Develop mobile features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS practices.
• Design and implement frontend interfaces using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and business logic.
• Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs and other application interfaces.
• Design database schemas, optimize queries, and manage application data.
• Integrate applications with backend services, third-party APIs, payment systems, and external platforms.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and well-structured application components.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, session management, and data protection.
• Conduct unit, integration, and UI testing; debug crashes, performance issues, bugs, and production incidents.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, memory use, and network efficiency.

Collaboration and delivery

• Work with UI/UX designers to turn designs and prototypes into functional interfaces.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, and developers; contribute to technical design and architecture decisions.
• Manage source code with Git, follow branching and code-review practices, and participate in reviews.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated builds, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and development guidelines.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues in development, staging, and production.
• Support application releases and App Store deployment when required.
• Meet security, privacy, performance, accessibility, and coding standards.
• Research technologies and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and architecture.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Previous professional experience in iOS development, full-stack development, or software engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift and modern iOS development frameworks.
• Familiarity with SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, Cocoa Touch, and iOS SDKs.
• Understanding of iOS architecture, lifecycle, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Proficiency in at least one backend technology such as Node.js, Java, Python, .NET, or PHP.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, clean code, and object-oriented programming.
• Cloud platforms are advantageous; Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices are a plus.

Additional qualifications

• Strong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, analytical, and logical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work independently and across teams.
• Good understanding of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Apple App Store publishing and mobile release experience is advantageous.
