About the position
As an iOS Developer, you will join the Car Market team to build cutting-edge features for Qatar's fast-growing car marketplace and support existing functionality.
The QIC Car Market team builds a seamless platform for buying and selling cars, boosting trust and accessibility.
Our mission is to develop strategies for listings, search, dealer management, pricing, and transactions.
By providing a reliable experience, we strengthen the market and support the growth of new QIC businesses.
Responsibilities
- Create new features functionality, based on design and analytics materials provided, as well as push forward new releases of iOS application
- Cover code with unit-tests covering all edge cases, usability issues and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Working closely with analytics, designers, QA team
Requirements
- At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position
- Significant experience with all aspects of native mobile application development on iOS, Swift
- Proficiency in multithreading, async/await or GCD
- Has used several tools from SwiftUI
- Have published at least one original iOS app
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- English level B1 or higher
- We offer
- Long-term service agreement contract with QIC with 3 months probation period
- We are diverse our digital nomads work remotely from 25+ different countries
- Payment in US dollars monthly to your bank account using SWIFT
- Full-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, GMT +3 timezone
- Vacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 20 vacation days, 10 sick offs
- Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a rais
