About the Role
Institute Itech is seeking a senior Investor Relations Manager based in Riyadh to lead the development of high-level investment relationships and strategic partnerships within the Saudi Arabian and broader GCC market.
The role focuses on identifying and engaging qualified investors, including sovereign wealth funds, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, venture capital and private equity funds, as well as government-linked and institutional investment entities aligned with Vision 2030 priorities.
The selected candidate must have a minimum of
10 years of experience
in investor relations, venture capital, or strategic capital development, with a demonstrated ability to originate, structure and support investment opportunities in the
€10M – €100M+ range
, while contributing to the creation of long-term partnerships aligned with Institute Itech's innovation roadmap and international growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- *Investment Development*
- Identify and engage potential investors across Saudi Arabia's and the GCC's financial and industrial ecosystem
- Develop relationships with sovereign wealth funds, family offices, corporate groups, and institutional entities
- Present Institute Itech's projects — including Memoria™, Oxyleaf™, Terra™, Polaris™, Balloon™, and Biocity™ — as structured investment opportunities
- Support the structuring and evaluation of VC-compatible investment vehicles and co-investment frameworks
- *Strategic Partnerships*
- Structure long-term investment relationships and collaborations aligned with Vision 2030 mandates
- Support negotiations and deal structuring with institutional and private counterparts
- Facilitate strategic alignment between GCC investors and Institute Itech's technological development priorities
*Market & Investment Intelligence*
- Analyse the Saudi Arabian and GCC investment landscape and identify relevant capital opportunities
- Provide insights on investor expectations, sovereign priorities, and partnership strategies in the region
- Support positioning of Institute Itech within the MENA innovation and deep-tech ecosystem
- *International Coordination*
- Connect Middle Eastern investors with Institute Itech's global operations across Europe and Asia
- Coordinate meetings and collaborations between the GCC, Italy, and international partners
- Support cross-border investment initiatives and multi-stakeholder capital structures
Requirements
- Minimum
- 10 years of experience
- in investor relations, business development, venture capital, or private equity
- Strong and active network within Saudi Arabia's and the GCC's investment and industrial ecosystem
- Proven ability to engage and build relationships with sovereign, institutional, and private investors
- Deep knowledge of
- venture capital mechanisms
- and experience structuring VC-compatible investment in innovation and technology projects
• Fluent Arabic (mandatory)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to operate autonomously in a high-level international environment
Experience
- working with:
- Sovereign wealth funds (e.g. PIF, Mubadala, ADQ or equivalent)
- Corporate innovation groups and industrial conglomerates
- Investment funds or government-linked entities in the GCC
- Background in technology, AI, energy, environmental, or urban development sectors
- Experience with cross-border investments between the Middle East and Europe
- Proven track record in capital raising, deal facilitation, or VC fund structuring

Annual Gross Salary
€74,000 – €95,000
, depending on experience, network strength, and seniority.
Additional performance-based incentives may be provided based on successfully secured investments.
