Role Overview

The Investment Operations Officer will play a critical role in managing and overseeing daily investment operations, ensuring seamless execution, accuracy, and compliance across all activities. The role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical knowledge of capital markets and a commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee trade processing, settlement, and reconciliation across asset classes
• Monitor daily cash positions, portfolio activities, and fund movements
• Ensure accuracy of investment records, valuations, and reporting
• Liaise with custodians, brokers, and counterparties to manage transactions and resolve issues
• Oversee corporate actions processing and ensure timely execution
• Prepare and review operational reports for internal stakeholders and management
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in investment operations, asset management, or financial services
• Solid understanding of capital markets, trade lifecycle, and settlement processes
• Experience working with custodians and financial systems
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred)
