We have an urgent requirement for Junior Financial Data Investment Operations Advanced Excel specialist - banking or insurance sector preferred for one of the client in Abu Dhabi ⚠️ Mandatory Requirement: Advanced Excel specialist with expertise in financial data cleansing, reconciliation, and investment reporting (NAV, TWRR, dividends, fixed income, and asset allocation) ensuring 100% accuracy and structured reporting Strong experience in Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, INDEX-MATCH, Macros) is MUST Strong experience in Financial Data Cleansing & Reconciliation – Ability to handle, standardize, reconcile, and validate financial data is MUST Strong experience in Investment & Accounting Knowledge (NAV, TWRR, dividends, asset allocation) is MUST Banking Or Insurance Sector Domain Is Preferred . The organization requires a dedicated and detail-oriented resource to support the Finance & Investments function through a structured Financial Data Cleaning & Operational Support project.

The primary objective is to enhance data accuracy, clean and reorganize 1,000+ reports from shared folders, streamline TWRR files, and improve overall data management and reporting processes.

Scope of Work & Key Deliverables

• The ideal candidate will assist in investment data cleaning, corporate actions , data management, trade processing, and clearing activities while gaining hands-on exposure tothe full investment lifecycle.
• This position is perfect for a finance professional with 2–5 years of relevant experience who is currently based in the UAE and ready to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Support data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation of investment portfolios and databases

• Perform back-office operations including inputting trades, trade matching, and clearing activities
• Monitor and resolve trade settlement issues in coordination with custodians and brokers
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, positions, and corporate actions
• Assist senior analysts with portfolio performance tracking and ad-hoc investment projects
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements in the UAE

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant work experience in investment analysis, portfolio operations, or back-office support within asset management, investment banking, or a financial institution
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (mandatory)
• Certifications (Preferred):

CFA Level 1 (highly preferred)

• ACCA qualification (highly preferred)
• Current Location & Availability: Must be currently residing in the UAE and available to join immediately (no notice period or relocation required)

Knowledge & Skills:

• Solid understanding of equities, bonds, and private equity fundamentals
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis); familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar platforms is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with excellent data management and reconciliation skills
• Experience in trade processing, clearing, and back-office operations is an advantage
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Confidential
