The Investment Director works closely with the principals and senior investment team in a hands-on role spanning opportunity assessment, analysis, execution, portfolio management, and exit.

Responsibilities
- Screen and evaluate opportunities; build financial models, valuations, and investment cases.
- Lead financial and commercial due diligence; review financial statements, plans, and forecasts.
- Structure transactions, support negotiations, prepare investment recommendations, and manage deals through completion.
- Work directly with founders and management teams after investment.
- Support portfolio performance, financing, acquisitions, and disposals; produce analysis, board materials, and reporting.
- Manage multiple transactions and portfolio workstreams concurrently.
Candidate profile
- Strong background in private equity, family office, principal investing, or comparable direct investment.
- Full-lifecycle transaction experience and investment experience in privately owned and founder-led businesses.
- Exposure to minority and control investments.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, investment analysis, due diligence, and transaction execution experience.
- Confidence working with founders, shareholders, advisers, and senior stakeholders and ability to work across sectors and asset classes.
- Strong portfolio management and value-creation experience; hands-on, entrepreneurial, adaptable, discreet, and sound judgment.
- Candidates should already be based in Dubai or be willing to relocate.
Role context
The role is broad and hands-on rather than supported by a large junior team; the director is expected to build models, review documentation, and work directly with founders and management teams.
Activity includes media and founder-led businesses, with opportunities across different industries and asset classes.
