The CFO is an executive leadership team member providing strategic, commercial and operational financial leadership across international operations.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO on strategy, investment decisions and international expansion.
- Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and performance management.
- Oversee international financial operations, reporting, governance, controls and regulatory compliance.
- Drive profitability, cash flow, working capital and operational efficiencies.
- Lead financial input to investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, market entry and expansion.
- Lead treasury, funding, liquidity and capital allocation.
- Advise commercial and operational leaders on pricing, customer profitability, contract performance and investment returns.
- Strengthen financial systems, reporting, processes and organisational capabilities.
- Build and lead an international finance function and engage with shareholders, financial institutions, advisers and other stakeholders.
Candidate profile
- Proven CFO, Regional CFO or senior finance executive experience in a complex international organisation.
- Strong background in transportation, logistics, infrastructure, business services or another complex international organisation.
- Experience across multiple countries, currencies and regulatory environments.
- Expertise in corporate finance, treasury, FP&A, financial governance, risk management and strategic investment.
- Track record in international expansion, profitability improvement and financial and operational transformation.
- Strong commercial orientation, communication, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial, privately owned or high-growth organisation experience is advantageous.
- An internationally recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is preferred.
- Pragmatic, hands-on, commercially focused leadership style with executive- and shareholder-level gravitas.
