About This Role
Overview
We're supporting an established Doha-based Global Institutional Investor that is seeking to expand its infrastructure team.
They benefit from a strong deal flow and focus on Core+ investments across all Infrastructure sub-sectors with a mix of minority/control stakes and co-investments.
Key Responsibilities
- **Deal Execution:**
- Lead the end-to-end execution of infrastructure transactions, from initial screening and complex financial modelling to final documentation and closing.
- **Deployment & Sourcing:**
- Support the Head of Infrastructure in analyzing a high volume of inbound opportunities, ensuring rapid but rigorous evaluation of risk-adjusted returns.
- **Investment Structuring:**
- Structure both minority and control positions, with a specific focus on achieving mid-teen IRRs.
- **Portfolio Monitoring:**
- Maintain active oversight of portfolio companies, including board involvement and strategic monitoring to ensure asset performance aligns with the firm’s yield-focused mandate.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- **Experience:**
- 4–7 years of experience, ideally with a mix of Buy-side and Sell-side experience.
- Infrastructure specialism is required.
- **Technical Expertise:**
- Proven independence in leading valuation workstreams within Infrastructure in addition to a strong commercial understanding of various infrastructure sub-segments.
- **Language & Culture:**
- An additional European language is a plus.
- Candidates should be motivated by a relocation to Doha
- **Agility:**
- A "self-starter" mindset.
- Proven ability to thrive within lean teams and liaising directly with senior internal and external stakeholders.
