Investment Analyst Job Description

Investment Analysis, Research, Financial Modeling & Valuation

• Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and valuation for investment opportunities (public equity, fixed income, direct, co-investments, funds) and prepare reports and memos for the board.
• Perform valuation using comparable, precedent transactions, and sensitivity analysis.
• Support transaction execution, including deal structuring, financial modeling, and investment committee presentations.
• Monitor and manage existing portfolio investments, providing strategic recommendations.
• Assist in market research, industry analysis, and identifying investment trends within KSA and broader GCC markets.
• Ensure investments comply with policies, risk limits, and governance standards.

Portfolio Execution, Monitoring & Reporting

• Work closely with senior management and external advisors on investment strategies and portfolio performance.
• Support structuring, negotiations, and transaction documentation through closing.
• On-line trading, management and reporting of GCC (mainly KSA) investments.
• Accounting of investments (mainly public stocks & DPM) operation on Oracle and generating relevant reports.
• Monitoring and recording of dividends and distribution of all the investments.
• Prepare periodic performance dashboards and management reports.
• Monitoring the performance of advisory and discretionary mandates with asset managers.

Relationships Management, KYC update & Compliance

• Engaging with Bank and brokerage house relationship managers.
• Updating of all KYC and compliance documents for all the Banks.
• Yearly Personal Zakat calculation for Board Members every Ramadan.

Educations & Skills

• English & Arabic (writing, reading & speaking) proficiency is required.
• Bachelor or Master's Degree Education in Finance, Economics or Business. CFA Candidacy.
• 5 to 7 years' experience at the family office or Asset Management or Brokerage house or Bank.
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc.
• Knowhow of brokerage trading portals, Oracle/ERP data entry, reporting, & proficiency in Excel & memo writing.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, entities and deadlines.
• Integrity, confidentiality, and compliance mindset.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
