Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to manage inventory operations across our retail and distribution network in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in inventory control within a retail and distribution environment, and strong expertise in ERP systems (ODOO and SAP) and capable of maintaining accurate inventory records, inventory KPIs, minimizing variances, and optimizing stock efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage inventory levels across warehouses and retail outlets to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Record and track all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, returns, and adjustments using ERP systems (ODOO and SAP).
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and generate timely inventory reports for decision-making.
• Analyze stock trends to identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess items and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to align stock movement with business needs.
• Develop and enforce inventory control policies and standard operating procedures.
• Support the monthly and annual inventory closing process with accurate stock valuations and reconciliations.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory visibility and control.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports including aging, turnover, and variance analyses for management.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management/control within a retail and distribution company in the UAE.
• Familiarity with inventory KPIs and best practices in inventory optimization.
• Proven expertise with ERP systems, especially ODOO and SAP.
• Strong understanding of inventory operations, Inventory KPIs, including stock flow, reconciliation, and data integrity.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting/BI tools.
• Experience handling multi-location inventory structures.
• Familiarity with inventory KPIs and best practices in inventory optimization.
