Inventory Controller

What you’ll do

• Manage the receipt, storage, allocation, deployment and return of IT equipment Maintain accurate asset and inventory records Carry out stock checks and investigate discrepancies Monitor stock levels and ensure equipment is available for service requirements Manage secure dispatches, returns and vendor repairs Assess equipment for redeployment, repair or end-of-life disposal Ensure all assets are handled securely and in line with data protection requirements Respond to asset queries and work with Service Management and technical teams Highlight asset discrepancies, security concerns and process issues Support audits and continuous improvement activities What you’ll need Experience in IT asset management, stock control, logistics, stores or desktop technology Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and data reconciliation Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy Good knowledge of IT hardware and desktop technology Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to SLAs Understanding of asset accountability, inventory control and data security Flexible, proactive approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Additional information Country: UK Location: London (Hybrid-Working) Hours: 37.5 Role Type: Permanent About us Computacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, with about 21,000 employees worldwide.
