Job Summary

Your role

• is vital for ensuring that stakeholders have the accurate reports and visual storytelling they need to optimize performance and identify new growth opportunities.
• What will you be doing?
• **Data Retrieval & Refinement:** Writing and optimizing **SQL queries** to pull data from various databases and cleaning that data to ensure high quality and reliability.
• **Visualization & Reporting:** Designing and building interactive **dashboards** (using tools like Power BI or Tableau) that make complex trends easy for stakeholders to understand.
• **Pattern Recognition:** Mining large datasets to identify hidden trends, correlations, and anomalies that can impact the company’s bottom line.
• **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partnering with different departments to translate their business questions into technical data requirements.
• **Data Governance:** Maintaining clear documentation for data processes and definitions to ensure consistency and "one version of the truth" across the organization.
• You're a perfect match if you have
• **Academic Foundation:** Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in **Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science**, or a similar quantitative field.
• **SQL Proficiency:** A strong command of SQL, with the ability to perform joins, aggregations, and subqueries to manipulate data.
• **The "Visual" Touch:** Experience with **Tableau, Power BI**, or Python libraries (like Matplotlib or Seaborn) to create compelling data stories.
• **Analytical Mindset:** Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to look beyond the numbers to see the "why" behind the data.
• **Precision & Detail:** A meticulous approach to work—ensuring that every chart is accurate and every data point is verified before it reaches a stakeholder's desk.
• Nice to have (but not required):
• Exposure to AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ML libraries)
• Familiarity with BI tools or simple dashboards
