Procurement & Import Specialist (Fmcg)

Key Responsibilitiesprocurement & Supplier Management

• Identify and develop reliable international suppliers and manufacturers.
• Request quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchase agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers worldwide.
• Source new FMCG products and evaluate supplier capabilities.
• Ensure procurement targets and cost-saving objectives are achieved.

Import & Logistics Management

• Coordinate international shipments from suppliers to UAE.
• Handle import documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and related documents.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs clearance agents.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve shipment delays and logistics issues.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

• Monitor stock levels and purchasing requirements.
• Plan purchases based on sales forecasts and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams.
• Ensure product availability while maintaining optimum inventory levels.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Analyze supplier pricing and market trends.
• Prepare procurement reports and cost analyses.
• Monitor landed costs and profitability.
• Identify opportunities to reduce procurement and logistics expenses.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Import/Export, or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in FMCG procurement is highly preferred.
• Strong supplier negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of international trade and import procedures.
• Experience handling overseas suppliers and freight forwarders.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting.
