Internship overview

Responsibilities and deliverables

• Develop an understanding of the product line and market.
• Help create and maintain product notices, pitch decks, case studies, videos, product sheets, and white papers.
• Assess historical product-line performance using installed-base data and financials.
• Work with product management, marketing, and website teams to achieve business objectives.
• Complete an assigned product management project, apply academic knowledge, and report progress to the Product Manager.

Required qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Must be willing to work on site at the Markham location.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada for the internship duration without GE Vernova sponsorship.
• Clear and professional written and spoken English is essential.

Desired qualifications

• Good relationship-building, self-motivation, and ability to work with minimal supervision are desired.
• Problem-solving, organization, time management, independent work across multiple projects, urgency, and a success-oriented attitude are desired.

Pay

• Canadian-based pay is $26–$29 CAD per hour; the offered rate may depend on experience, education, and skills.

Work location

• The internship requires on-site work at the Markham location.
