This is a full-time Fashion Design and Merchandising internship.
The role supports apparel product development, sampling, and coordination with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Workplace
- The work location is Ras Al Khor Industrial Area, Dubai.
- Work is performed in person.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,000 per month.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand fashion design, fabrics, garments, patterns, raw materials, and merchandising.
- Understand buyer requirements and assist in product development.
- Read and understand tech packs, measurement charts, and garment specifications.
- Prepare design references, mock-ups, and development details.
- Coordinate with the master, pattern maker, sampling team, and other departments.
- Follow up on sample development and ensure samples meet buyer requirements.
- Incorporate buyer comments and corrections into samples.
- Coordinate with fabric, trims, and raw-material suppliers when required.
- Track sample status, timelines, approvals, and pending requirements.
- Maintain records and updates related to samples and product development.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile, or a related field.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Interest in fashion, apparel, and product development.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel is preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in fabric and raw-material sourcing is advantageous.
