Intermediate Environmental Planner / Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Qualifications

• 5 + years of professional experience in environmental planning, environmental assessment, or infrastructure project management
• Demonstrated expertise in environmental impact assessment methodologies and regulatory compliance
• Strong proficiency with project management software and tools
• Experience with GIS software and environmental modeling platforms
• Solid understanding of federal and provincial environmental regulations and permitting processes
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to synthesize complex environmental information
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare technical reports and present findings to diverse audiences
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and public consultation processes
• Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation
• Preferred: Experience with sustainability principles and green infrastructure initiatives
• Preferred: Background in team leadership or mentoring junior staff
• Preferred: Knowledge of infrastructure planning and design principles
