Intermediate Engineer (Saudi National)

Role overview

What you'll do

• Review engineering work scope, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements and monitor progress.
• Identify and document changes in scope.
• Assist in defining procurement scope, schedules, and budgets and monitor procurement progress.
• Assist with bid analysis to assess supplier availability and capability.
• Coordinate with company technical support groups and third parties.
• Assist the Project Manager with planning, directing, supervising, and controlling technical, fiscal, and administrative project functions.
• Ensure client criteria and scope are met.
• Participate in decision-making meetings with the client, design consultant, and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Communicate with the Project Manager and project participants to provide assistance and technical support.

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of related work experience.
• Proficiency with CAD and engineering-related PC software, design software, and associated calculations.
• Experience reviewing third-party designs and coordinating comments for approval.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team and proven experience as a Project Engineer.
• Advanced MS Office skills and familiarity with applicable rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
• Project management and supervision skills, decision-making and leadership ability, and time management and organization skills.

Desired skills

• Previous experience working in a PMO is desirable.
