Intermediate Engineer (Saudi National)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Review engineering scope, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements and monitor progress.
• Identify and document scope changes.
• Assist with procurement scope, schedules, budgets, and progress monitoring.
• Support bid analysis of supplier availability and capability.
• Coordinate with internal technical support groups and third parties.
• Assist the Project Manager with technical, fiscal, and administrative project planning and control.
• Ensure client criteria and scope are met; participate in decision-making meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Provide project participants with assistance and technical support.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least five years of related work experience.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer and experience reviewing third-party designs and coordinating approval comments.
• Proficiency in CAD, engineering-related PC software, design software, and associated calculations.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary team environment and advanced MS Office skills.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
• Project management and supervision skills; decision-making and leadership ability; time-management and organizational skills.
• Proactive approach to own activities and supporting other disciplines to improve PMO efficiency.

Desired experience

• Previous PMO experience is desirable.
