Intermediate Engineer (Saudi National)

Role overview

What you'll do

• Review engineering work scope, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project progress.
• Identify and document scope changes; assist with procurement scope, schedules, budgets, and progress monitoring.
• Assist with bid analysis to assess supplier availability and capability.
• Coordinate with internal technical support groups and third parties.
• Support the Project Manager in planning and controlling technical, fiscal, and administrative project functions.
• Ensure client criteria and scope are met; participate in meetings with clients, design consultants, and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Provide coordination, assistance, and technical support to project participants.

Required qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of related work experience.
• Proficiency with CAD and engineering-related PC software, design software, and associated calculations.
• Experience reviewing third-party designs, coordinating approval comments, and working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proven Project Engineer experience; advanced MS Office skills.
• Familiarity with relevant rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
• Project management, supervision, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and organizational skills.
• A proactive approach to own activities and supporting other disciplines to improve PMO efficiency.

Desired qualifications

• Previous experience working in a PMO is desirable.
