Interface Manager - SEC

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage project interfaces with SEC/client, consultants and contractors; act as the primary contact for SEC-related interface matters.
• Develop and maintain the Interface Management Plan, Interface Register and Interface Matrix.
• Identify, document and track technical, engineering, construction and commissioning interfaces.
• Coordinate interfaces among Electrical, Civil, Protection & Control, SCADA, Telecom, testing and commissioning, and other disciplines.
• Lead regular interface coordination meetings and track actions, approvals, comments and commitments to closure.
• Coordinate engineering and construction deliverables requiring SEC review and approval; communicate approved SEC requirements, specifications, drawings and standards to project teams.
• Identify interface risks, conflicts and delays and develop mitigation plans.
• Coordinate SEC-related inspections, testing, commissioning, energization and handover interfaces.
• Support resolution of technical clarifications, RFIs, design changes and site issues; monitor interface milestones and escalate critical issues.
• Maintain interface communications, approvals, meeting minutes and action trackers; coordinate schedule and cost impacts with Planning, Commercial and Project Controls.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE, quality and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Manage project interfaces with SEC/client, consultants, contractors and internal project disciplines.
• Develop and maintain an Interface Management Plan, Interface Register and Interface Matrix.
• Coordinate technical, engineering, construction and commissioning interfaces across project disciplines.
• Track interface actions, approvals, comments, commitments and milestones through timely closure.
• Coordinate deliverables requiring SEC review and approval and ensure SEC requirements, specifications, drawings and standards reach project teams.
• Identify interface risks, conflicts and delays and develop mitigation plans; escalate critical issues to project management.
• Coordinate interface-related schedule and cost impacts with Planning, Commercial and Project Controls teams.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE, quality and contractual requirements.
