The role requires at least 10 but fewer than 17 years of relevant experience.
Assignment focus
- Apply knowledge of Qatari government entities, relevant IP legislation, and approval procedures for content publication, access, and use.
- Address copyright and related rights, publication and reuse licensing, and rights clearance for digitization and access.
- Provide expertise on IP policies and content-use agreements.
Required qualifications
- Experience working with Qatari government entities.
- Sound understanding of relevant IP legislation and approval procedures for content publication, access, and use.
- Core expertise in copyright and related rights, publication and reuse licensing, rights clearance, IP policies, and content-use agreements.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and professional certifications.
- Professional communication and drafting skills.
Preferred experience
- Experience with archives, libraries, or cultural collections is preferred.
