Insurance Officer (RCM)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance Officer (RCM) to join our team at Mafasel Clinics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing insurance processes, approvals, claims submission, and denial management to ensure timely reimbursement and compliance with payer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle insurance verification and eligibility checks for patients
• Obtain and manage insurance approvals (pre-authorizations) for procedures and treatments
• Follow up on pending approvals and ensure timely responses from insurance providers
• Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
• Follow up on pending claims and resolve denials or rejections
• Coordinate with insurance companies regarding approvals, claims, and rejections
• Maintain proper documentation and patient records
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and insurance regulations
• Support billing and revenue cycle management processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in healthcare administration or related field
• Minimum [1–3] years of experience in insurance or RCM (clinic/hospital setting preferred)
• Knowledge of medical coding, billing procedures, and insurance policies
• Familiarity with healthcare systems and claim submission portals
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
