A growing regenerative medicine clinic in Dubai is launching an in-house insurance department.
The Insurance Manager will build the department from the ground up and take full ownership.
Key responsibilities
- Establish the department structure, workflows, SOPs, and controls.
- Manage regulatory and licensing requirements with relevant UAE health authorities.
- Secure empanelment with local and international insurers and TPAs.
- Negotiate payer contracts and tariffs.
- Oversee eligibility, pre-authorisation, claims submission, follow-up, and denial recovery.
- Track rejection rates, turnaround time, and collections, and report KPIs to management.
- Recruit, train, and lead the insurance team as it grows.
- Coordinate with clinical, billing, and front-office teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years in UAE healthcare insurance or revenue cycle management.
- Experience launching an insurance department in a clinic or hospital.
- Track record of insurer and TPA empanelment and tariff negotiation.
- Strong knowledge of DHA regulations, e-claims platforms, and UAE insurance processes.
- Experience managing and training a team.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Self-driven and comfortable working without an existing structure.
- UAE payer and TPA relationships are a strong advantage.
- Aesthetics, dermatology, or outpatient specialty experience is a plus.
