Role Overview
- As an Insurance Coordinator, you will handle the coordination and processing of health insurance claims and approvals, ensuring excellent service to clients and partners. As part of our team in Jumeirah Beach Road, you'll work in an ONSITE environment and play a pivotal role in sustaining strong relationships with insurance providers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims and pre-approvals in compliance with company guidelines.
- Liaise with insurance companies to follow up on outstanding claims and secure necessary approvals.
- Review patients’ insurance coverage and advise on eligible services and benefits.
- Maintain updated records of insurance transactions and authorization logs.
- Provide support to patients and clinical staff regarding insurance queries and billing procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely resolution of insurance claim denials or rejections.
- Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, regulations, and provider networks.
- Must have requirements
- Proven experience working as an Insurance Coordinator in the healthcare sector.
- In-depth understanding of health insurance processes, billing, and claims systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency with healthcare management software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ONSITE environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and follow-through skills.
- Nice to have requirements
- Previous experience working with UAE insurance companies and healthcare providers.
- Familiarity with DHA/DOH insurance policies and claims portals.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminologies and clinical coding (ICD-10 & CPT).
- Fluency in additional languages, such as Arabic.
