We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
General And Commercial And Marketing Insurance Associate
to join our team.
Key Responsibilities For Commercial Insurance
- Managing motor certificates for the existing motor fleet portfolio.
- Processing vehicle additions and deletions within fleets.
- Handling non-motor endorsements.
- Managing policy renewals.
- Conducting negotiations and follow-ups with insurers.
- Coordinating with the Document Processing team for accounting entries, including verification of documents as per client instructions and underwriting guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance checks and adherence to internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities For Marketing

Provides accurate, efficient, and timely issuance of policies and related documentation.
·
Maintains a First level issue resolution: Support Client and internal team (Underwriting, Credit Control, Compliance, Claims).
· Handling the assigned Policy Renewals - Maintain 100% retention of business.
· Able to independently handle new business inquiries.
· Handling Credit Control of assigned accounts as per Company Credit Policies.
· Ensure Compliance is up to date for the clients.
· Support with client escalation.

Ensure there is attention to detail -
Administration and Documentation
· The position requires monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing efforts, tracking key performance metrics, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
·
Handles all technical queries effectively.
· Highlights the specifics of the warranties, terms and conditions to clients
·
This role involves direct contact with clients.
·
Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work within a team.
·
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence.
·
Adapt to changing requirements based on business needs.
·
Constantly upgrade technical skills by clearing insurance qualifications like FIII, ACII or similar
·
To manage renewal of existing business
·
Cross selling of other products.
Qualifications
- Strong technical understanding of Insurance and General/Commercial lines, with the ability to interpret policy wordings and coverage terms.
- Experience or knowledge in Insurance Brokerage, including working with insurers, preparing quotations, and assisting with policy placement.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills, with a client-focused approach and the ability to manage inquiries professionally.
- Basic knowledge of Finance related to insurance (premiums, invoicing, and reconciliations) and attention to numerical accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office and insurance-related systems, with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in general or commercial insurance, broking.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Professional certifications in insurance (e.g., CII or equivalent) or willingness to pursue them will be beneficial.
