Role overview

Responsibilities

• Follow up on client accounts to resolve outstanding activities.
• Keep product knowledge current and build relationships with insurance providers.
• Review client data entries, invoices, and coverage selections for compliance.
• Issue certificates for new business and renewal clients.
• Process policy changes and endorsements.
• Administer the commercial book of business accurately and efficiently.
• Make sales calls and upsell products to new and existing clients to contribute to business growth.
• Continue self-development through industry and community involvement, training, and courses.

Qualifications and skills

• General Insurance Level 1 License and Commercial Lines experience are assets.
• Experience achieving sales targets individually and as a team.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer programs at once.
• Involvement in industry-related associations and the community is valued.
• Understanding of policy wordings and coverage is preferred.
• Strong sales and communication skills.

Hours

• Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
