Job Summary
An experienced Instrumentation Supervisor is required to oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems.
The role involves supervising field teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining operational efficiency in industrial environments such as Oil & Gas, Power Plants, or Construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities related to instrumentation installation, calibration, and maintenance
- Ensure all work is executed as per project specifications, drawings, and standards
- Monitor and guide technicians for troubleshooting instrumentation issues
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for smooth project execution
- Ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures, and permit systems
- Inspect instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and reports
- Conduct routine checks, preventive maintenance, and system testing
- Manage manpower allocation and ensure productivity on site
- Support commissioning and start-up activities
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Instrumentation Engineering / Electrical / Electronics
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in instrumentation field
- Prior experience in Gulf countries (preferred)
- Experience in Oil & Gas / EPC / Industrial projects is an advantage
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems and control panels
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings and technical diagrams
- Hands-on experience with PLC, DCS systems
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and team handling capability
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
