Role overview

Inspection and compliance

• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and installations against applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Review electrical plans, drawings, and blueprints for regulatory compliance.
• Monitor code and safety-standard compliance; identify issues and recommend corrective action.

Reporting and collaboration

• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records of inspections, approvals, and rejections.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers, providing technical guidance and participating in inspection discussions.

Safety oversight

• Promote electrical safety practices and inspect for hazards and implementation of safety measures.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Inspector or similar construction-industry role.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards, such as NEC and IEC.
• Analytical skills, ability to interpret technical documents and drawings, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in relevant documentation and reporting software.
• Professional Electrical Inspector certification is preferred.

Additional requirements

• Willingness to travel to project sites across the UAE; familiarity with construction safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
