Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Provide analytical support across insights, planning, pricing and finance teams.
• Analyse claims performance and loss ratios against emerging trends to support strategic planning.
• Review premium, claims and loss ratio trends, explain their drivers and support finance forecasts.
• Use market data for long-term projections and annual strategic planning.
• Develop a monthly business profitability update model using emerging data trends.
• Contribute to an early-warning platform for claims KPIs.
• Work with Finance, Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, Pricing and Reinsurance stakeholders and support accurate reserving information.
• Deliver automated Power BI reports and self-service claims performance dashboards.

Skills and experience

• Ability to design, implement and manage effective financial MI update processes.
• Previous experience using data insights to support claims analysis.
• High commercial acumen and experience building relationships across multiple teams.
• Proficient in negotiation and influencing; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and pragmatism.
• Must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

Work arrangements

• Work at least two days a week away from home, increasing to three days a week from December 2026.
• Away-from-home work may include office attendance, client visits or industry events; flexible arrangements may be discussed.
