Inside Sales Engineer supporting customers and sales of valves and aftermarket services in an assigned area, including selected customers in the Middle East.
The role includes customer communication, quotation processing, technical inquiry handling, and substantial data entry in the company ERP system.
Sales and customer support
- Support selected Middle East customers to retain existing business and sell valves and aftermarket services in the assigned area.
- Acquire customers, track inquiries and offers, organize customer support, and participate in or initiate marketing activities.
- Receive and log customer inquiries, interpret technical and commercial requirements, and assist with quotation preparation.
- Develop selling prices to optimize margin and support customer retention.
Order administration and reporting
- Maintain order data in CRM, review orders against quotations, and update parts pricing and delivery information.
- Keep quotations and orders accurate and organized through customer acknowledgement; report order and quotation activity and maintain records.
- Enter and analyze ERP order data, help resolve problems, and follow, administer, or implement company procedures and policies.
- Work as part of a team directed by the Internal Sales Team Leader.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Knowledge of valves and computer literacy, including common programs such as Excel and MS Office.
- 0–2 years of inside sales engineering experience.
- Must be located within commuting distance of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
