Senior Composite Structural Design Engineer
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Composite Structural Design Engineer
to lead the structural design of a next-generation aerial and marine vehicle platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design primary and secondary composite structures, including monocoque chassis, wings, rotor arms, and watertight hulls.
- Define carbon-fiber laminate architectures, load paths, and sandwich-core structures.
- Perform structural sizing and classical engineering calculations (loads, stress, strain, beam theory).
- Develop structural interfaces for tilting mechanisms, landing systems, and other critical subsystems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize performance, weight, and structural integrity.
Requirement
- s5+ years of experience in aerospace, eVTOL, Formula 1, or high-performance composite structures
- .Strong expertise in carbon-fiber composites, sandwich structures, bonded joints, and anisotropic materials
- .Proficiency in CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent 3D CAD software
- .Ability to perform analytical structural design and sizing from first principles
