Al Darmaky Contracting & Agricultural Materials seeks an experienced Infrastructure Estimation Engineer for earthwork.
The role calls for particular expertise in stormwater drainage and piping networks, with a sound understanding of infrastructure and civil construction.
Responsibilities
- Review tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify the full scope of work.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates and rate analyses.
- Assess material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Identify scope gaps, technical discrepancies, exclusions, and pricing risks.
- Prepare complete, competitive technical and commercial tender submissions.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience as an Infrastructure Estimation Engineer.
- Strong experience in quantity take-offs, BOQs, rate analysis, cost estimation, and tender pricing.
- Experience in stormwater drainage, piping networks, and related infrastructure works.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Understanding of construction materials, methods, manpower, equipment, and productivity.
- Experience coordinating supplier and subcontractor quotations and pricing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; estimation or QS software knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- UAE experience, particularly in Abu Dhabi, is preferred.
