What You Will Do
- Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud providers and edge locations. Build and maintain the networking that connects and isolates our edge infrastructure, including VPNs, routing, network policies, and firewalls. Own infrastructure automation for cluster provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and recovery. Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform/OpenTofu and configuration management tools such as Ansible. Build and operate secure runtime environments for customer workloads, including containers, microVMs, and ephemeral sandboxed workloads. Improve cluster reliability, observability, and capacity as the platform grows across providers and regions. Build out Prometheus metrics and alerting for infrastructure and platform observability. Harden workload and network isolation, and help define security boundaries for running untrusted customer code. Participate in on-call and troubleshoot problems across Linux, containers, Kubernetes, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
