Opportunity

The Marketing & Transformation Technology department delivers scalable technology, data, analytics, and AI solutions for Aritzia's Marketing & Transformation functions.

The role supports the business through data modeling and helps create a modern platform for self-service analysis, reporting, and data science.

Role responsibilities

  • Develop complex SQL transformations to create widely used data models.
  • Embed and enrich business logic to unify analysis across cross-functional teams.
  • Design and recommend data model structures and flows.
  • Review and approve model changes; own specific data sub-domains technically.
  • Build in Google Cloud Platform and Dataform.
  • Contribute to and apply analytics engineering best practices and standards.

Qualifications

  • Excellent SQL skills and ability to create and tune efficient data models.
  • Strong business modeling skills and ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models.
  • Ability to reshape data tables using varied design options.
  • Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as GCP, Microsoft cloud platforms, or AWS.
  • SAP HANA data-environment experience is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners.

Compensation

  • Typical hiring range is $100,000–$300,000 per year.
  • Total compensation may include base pay, bonus, and/or equity depending on the role.
