About the Role:
We are hiring a highly experienced IT Project Manager - Governance Support to oversee governance activities across IT projects. This role ensures that projects are executed in alignment with organizational standards, delivering transparency, accountability, and control over project performance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project governance frameworks, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Tracking & Reporting:
-
Ensure weekly tracking of project progress and deliverables.

Maintain and update project status reports, dashboards, and governance documentation.

Provide timely updates to stakeholders and leadership on project health.

Engagement Model Governance:
-
Attend and facilitate project meetings with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
-
Prepare and circulate minutes of meetings with clear action items and ownership.
-
Monitor follow-up actions to ensure accountability.

Risk & Dependency Management:
-
Identify, document, and track project risks, issues, and dependencies.
-
Develop mitigation strategies and escalate critical risks to leadership.

Maintain a risk register and dependency log for governance oversight.

Financial Governance:
-
Track project costs, budgets, and forecasts.
-
Monitor variances against approved budgets and highlight potential overruns.
-
Support financial reporting and compliance with organizational standards.

Governance Framework Compliance:
-
Ensure adherence to project governance policies, methodologies, and best practices.

Drive consistency in project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Support audits and compliance reviews as required.
Education Qualification & Experience:
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.

Experience: At least 8 to 12 years of experience in IT project governance, PMO, or project management roles within banking or financial sector.

Technical Skills:
-
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, etc.).

Financial tracking, budgeting and reporting expertise.

Soft Skills:
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
