Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Manage IT tickets, prioritize requests, and track resolutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals; perform system updates and patches.
• Manage accounts, permissions, and authentication; maintain equipment, license, and software asset records.
• Coordinate with IT staff and vendors to resolve complex issues; document procedures and system configurations.
• Assist with network monitoring and basic infrastructure support under senior staff guidance.
• Train and onboard users on software and systems; follow IT security policies and best practices.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or similar technical support work.
• Proficiency with Windows and macOS; strong knowledge of network fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with IT ticketing and asset management systems; familiarity with hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills; able to multitask and work independently or in a team.

Preferred skills

• Experience with Active Directory and user account management is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services, familiarity with virtualization, and understanding of IT security principles are preferred.
• Technical documentation and knowledge base experience, customer service orientation, and user support experience are preferred.
