Monotype is hiring an Information Security Trainee to perform security investigations, coordinate breach response, and maintain security monitoring infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and contextualize threat intelligence from multiple sources and assess implications.
- Identify vulnerabilities and exploitation potential, and assess cybercriminal or foreign intelligence capabilities and activities.
- Produce findings that support law enforcement or counterintelligence investigations and activities.
- Respond to urgent threats and use mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery approaches.
- Investigate and analyze response activities.
- Assist IT with malware remediation and configuration audits of networks and operating systems.
What the employer is looking for
- Understanding of network, systems, application, and cloud security, specifically AWS.
- Understanding of information security concepts.
- Technical communication, analytical, time-management, organization, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information security, or equivalent.
