Role overview

Location

Compensation

• Salary is stated as up to USD 200,000–210,000 base, plus a performance-related bonus and benefits; no pay cadence is specified.

Role focus

• Own ISO 27001 certification and the ISMS, including audits, ongoing certification requirements, and continual improvement.
• Lead SOC 2 Type I and Type II activities and work with external auditors.
• Oversee controls, audit evidence, findings, and remediation through completion.
• Provide assurance across a cloud-based technology environment and support security governance.
• Partner with senior security leadership and technical teams.
• Develop and improve GRC and assurance capabilities as the organisation scales.

Requirements

• Significant experience in information security, GRC, security assurance, or IT audit.
• Demonstrable ownership of ISO 27001 certification and audits; experience leading or managing SOC 2 Type I and Type II programmes.
• Finance or FinTech background is essential; relevant settings may include asset management, investment management, trading, banking, payments, or other regulated finance.
• Strong understanding of security controls, audit processes, evidence, and remediation.
• Able to work with senior stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred experience

• Cloud environment and GRC or assurance tooling experience is advantageous.
• AI governance or ISO 42001 experience is a plus.
