The Information Security Engineer develops endpoint security controls and cloud compliance and privacy solutions.
The role includes security project delivery and Microsoft 365 and Azure security integrations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce endpoint security policies and procedures for standards and regulatory compliance.
- Advise IT and network teams on security best practices.
- Implement protections against malware, ransomware, and other security threats.
- Lead security projects from design through implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Design, present, troubleshoot, and implement cloud infrastructure compliance or privacy solutions for Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Design, document, and create Microsoft 365 security and compliance integrations.
- Test new security technologies through proof-of-concept exercises.
- Design and implement cloud DLP and encryption solutions for sensitive information.
- Partner with GRC teams to resolve audit findings and implement remediation.
Qualification criteria
- The stated criteria call for a security architect, cloud security, or infrastructure security background.
- Endpoint security is specified.
- Cloud platform experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI is specified.
- Container experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker is specified.
- CI/CD or Jenkins experience is specified.
- IAM, RBAC, or PAM experience is specified.
