Industrial Service Technician

About the Role
EnerMech is seeking experienced Industrial Services Technicians to join our Gladstone team, supporting maintenance, shutdowns and industrial services projects across the region.
The role primarily involves high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ), with opportunities to develop skills in hydrostatic testing, hot tapping and other specialised industrial services.
Key Responsibilities
- · Set up, operate and maintain HPWJ pumps, equipment and tooling.
- · Perform industrial cleaning of tanks, vessels, pipelines and other plant equipment.
- · Assist with pressure testing, hot tapping and other industrial services.
- · Complete JHAs, Take 5s, equipment pre-starts, timesheets and other documentation.
- · Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and serviceable condition.
- · Comply with EnerMech and client safety procedures and site requirements.
- · Undertake training and VOCs as required
- Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- · Current Use or Operate High Pressure Water Jetting qualification appropriate to the role. MSMSS00017 or MSMSS00018.
- · Current Australian driver’s licence.
- · Construction Induction Card (White Card or recognised equivalent).
- · Experience operating HPWJ equipment and sound mechanical aptitude.
- · Strong safety focus, teamwork and availability for shutdown and shift work.
- Highly Desirable
- · Current 3-site medical clearances for RTAY, QAL and BSL.
- · Heavy vehicle licence
- · Forklift High Risk Work Licence (LF).
- · Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry training (within 2 years).
- · Experience in hydrostatic testing of piping and pressure vessels.
- · Hot tapping, flange management or chemical cleaning experience.
- Skills and Attributes
- · Practical problem-solving skills and ability to work to deadlines.
- · Reliable, team-oriented and able to work with limited supervision.
- · Willingness to learn and develop broader industrial services skills.
