Key responsibilities
- Calculate and analyze product manufacturing costs, including raw materials, direct labor, and factory overhead.
- Monitor production costs and investigate cost variances.
- Maintain accurate inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and cost records.
- Prepare cost reports, budgets, and profitability analyses.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance teams.
- Support month-end closing, cost allocation, and financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and reduce wastage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge of inventory costing, BOM, production costing, and variance analysis.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing company is essential.
