Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Indirect Tax professional
to support the development and execution of the Group’s indirect tax strategy, ensuring full compliance with UAE VAT regulations and reporting requirements.
The role will support indirect tax operations across multiple entities, including VAT returns, audits, M&A advisory, e‑invoicing implementation, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support indirect tax strategy execution in line with business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and review VAT returns, filings, transactions, and related documentation
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks
- Support M&A activities from an indirect tax perspective, including structuring and due diligence
- Assist with indirect tax audits, e‑invoicing implementation, ESR‑related matters, and legislative updates
- Identify opportunities to optimize VAT positions and mitigate tax risks
- Deliver indirect tax reporting to authorities and provide internal guidance and training
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum
- 8+ years’ experience
- in financial and/or management accounting with strong indirect tax exposure
- Prior
- in‑house or Big 4 background
- highly desirable
- Hands‑on experience with
- UAE VAT and e‑invoicing implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
