Overview
We are looking for an experienced Indian/Pakistani Chef who can prepare authentic dishes with strong knowledge of biryani, curries, tandoor items, BBQ, gravies, and traditional street-style foods.
The candidate should be able to manage kitchen operations, maintain food quality, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes
- Specialize in biryani (Hyderabadi, Karachi, Lucknowi, etc.)
- Cook curries, BBQ, karahi, handi, kebabs, naan, and tandoor items
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards
- Manage kitchen stock and daily prep
- Ensure consistent taste and presentation
- Train kitchen helpers if required
- Control food waste and maintain cleanliness
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in Indian/Pakistani cuisine
- Strong knowledge of spices and traditional cooking methods
- Experience with bulk cooking and restaurant operations
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player with good kitchen discipline
- Gulf experience is a plus
