Job Overview

• We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Import & Sales Executive to develop international business opportunities and generate import orders for food and consumer products from India to the United Arab Emirates and other global markets.
• The ideal candidate should have strong connections with buyers, wholesalers, distributors, supermarkets, retailers, and importers, with the ability to generate and manage import orders for products such as:
• Rice
• Spices
• Chickpeas & pulses
• Plastic products
• Ceramic tiles
• General trading products
• The candidate must possess strong sales, sourcing, negotiation, and international trade coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new import business opportunities and sales leads in the UAE and international markets.
• Develop relationships with importers, distributors, wholesalers, supermarkets, and retail chains.
• Promote and sell food products, plastic goods, ceramic tiles, and related trading products sourced from India.
• Identify market demand and secure import purchase orders from customers.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers in India for pricing, production, and shipment schedules.
• Manage end-to-end import sales process from inquiry to delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with buyers and suppliers.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs clearing agents.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation requirements.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Prepare sales reports, market analysis, and customer updates.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in import/export sales or international trading.
• Strong network of buyers/importers in the UAE or overseas markets.
• Experience dealing with food commodities, plastic products, or ceramic tiles preferred.
• Knowledge of international shipping, logistics, and customs procedures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to independently generate business and close deals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in FMCG or general trading companies.
• Multilingual candidates preferred (English, Hindi, Arabic, Malayalam, Tamil, or Urdu).
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of handling international clients.
