Role overview

Responsibilities

• Monitor transport activities against local operations objectives.
• Lead day-to-day international import transportation for purchases and shipments to the US across transport modes, following global policies.
• Monitor import/export regulatory and related tax and stamp-duty compliance.
• Track shipments daily and resolve delivery issues with suppliers, customs, and transporters.
• Coordinate customs clearance procedures and documentation with customs brokers.
• Verify import-document values, commodity classifications, tariff codes, and authorizations; record deliveries in SAP.
• Track supplier performance, report deviations, and implement corrective actions.

Professional profile

• Technical or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business management, or a related field.
• 3 to 4 years of logistics experience in a manufacturing environment and 1 to 2 years of import experience.
• SAP experience and professional Excel knowledge, including complex functions, are required.
• Good knowledge of the transportation supplier landscape and supply chain dependencies and processes.
