ICT/ELV Technician

Role overview

Duties

• Install, maintain, and service telephone equipment and voice and data communication circuits.
• Install, test, commission, repair, and maintain security cameras, panic systems, access control, structured cabling, and associated equipment.
• Carry out field service work and complete technical report documentation.

Required qualifications

• At least two years of experience and full knowledge of ICT and ELV systems are required.
• Candidates must demonstrate installation, testing, commissioning, repair, and maintenance experience with ICT/ELV systems.
• Ability to understand complex systems, use IT skills, follow instructions, and work with minimal supervision is required.
• Candidates must be able to complete technical reports, work under stringent deadlines and pressure, and communicate in spoken and written English.

Preferred certifications

• Copper structured cabling installation certification is preferred.
• SIRA certification is preferred.

Salary and benefits

• Pay is AED 1,800–3,000 per month.
