I&C Engineer - Operations and Maintenance

Role overview

Engineering operations support

• Provide immediate I&C engineering support for operational queries, activities, and risks with the site team, under the Operations Engineering Manager.
• Assess asset I&C engineering risks and drive actions to reduce them within agreed timeframes.
• Define operating envelopes, monitor static I&C equipment health, and investigate excursions.
• Monitor I&C KPIs and initiate corrective actions.
• Support technical Management of Change and Engineering Queries.

Production and technical delivery

• Identify production vulnerabilities and optimization opportunities to support forecasts and growth.
• Write, review, and recommend technical input to Site Operations Procedures.
• Coach client engineers in I&C engineering.
• Generate, revise, and review discipline technical documentation.

Education and experience

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, and/or an equivalent relevant professional qualification.
• Professional accreditation as a Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer.
• Significant experience in an operations I&C engineering support role.
• Advanced technical engineering knowledge and sound understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Ability to guide appropriate designs and systems to prevent, control, and mitigate risks.
• Sound stakeholder-management experience.
