I&C Engineer - Operations and Maintenance

Role overview

Operations engineering support

• Resolve immediate site operations issues with the site team under the Operations Engineering Manager.
• Collaborate with the site-based team to progress longer-term engineering solutions that reduce risk and support production.

Risk, equipment, and performance

• Assess asset I&C engineering risks and drive mitigation actions within agreed timeframes.
• Define operating envelopes; monitor static I&C equipment health; record and investigate excursions outside operating envelopes.
• Monitor I&C engineering KPIs and initiate corrective actions as needed.

Engineering delivery and production

• Support technical Management of Change processes and Engineering Queries.
• Identify production vulnerabilities and optimization opportunities to support production forecasts and growth.
• Write, review, and provide technical input to Site Operations Procedures.
• Coach client engineers and generate, revise, and review discipline technical documentation.

Education and experience

• A degree in Engineering or a related discipline and/or an equivalent relevant professional qualification.
