Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the hygiene team, delegating tasks and monitoring the execution of cleaning schedules.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to hygiene staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable in best practices and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with management to arrange cleaning schedules that align with production needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, audits, and compliance to provide thorough reports to management.
  • Ensure stock levels of cleaning supplies are managed effectively, reordering as necessary to maintain operations.
  • Foster a culture of hygiene awareness and safety within the team.
  • Participate in meetings focused on continuous improvement initiatives concerning hygiene practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a hygiene or cleaning leadership role within a food production environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interactions with staff at various levels.
  • Keen attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
