HVAC Technician

Position summary

Maintenance duties

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Maintain and inspect the mechanical plant daily; monitor and control property temperature.
• Monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems and electronic wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.

Required qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification.
• Driver’s license.
• HVAC certification.

Preferred qualifications

• At least 3 years of related work experience is preferred.
• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is specified.

Safety, service, and physical duties

• Follow company safety and security procedures; report hazards, accidents, injuries, and maintenance problems; complete safety training.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and respond courteously to guest needs.
• Work in confined or elevated spaces and on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces; use stairs, ramps, and ladders.
• Assist with moving objects over 100 pounds and move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
